The project aimed to create a co-working space with a fully equipped kitchen for starters in the food and health industry. We wanted to provide an environment for experimentation, product creation, workshops, and investor presentations.

The project involved designing and building the space, developing membership and pricing structures, marketing the space, and managing day-to-day operations. Ultimately, the project aimed to foster innovation, collaboration, and growth for starters in the food and health industry.

For this project, I conducted extensive research to understand the requirements of starters in the food and health industry, including interviewing professionals and visiting co-working spaces in Europe.

Based on this research, I developed a comprehensive plan with architects and designers to create a functional space that provided the physical resources and supportive community needed for product development and growth, as well as a marketing and business development strategy to attract and retain users.

I worked closely with a variety of organizations to ensure its success. I spent a significant amount of time identifying and reaching out to potential partners who could help bring the project to fruition. In the end, the city of Ghent,  industry organizations, incubators and other innovative companies became key partners due to the project's potential to solve a critical need in the industry.

Collaborating with these organizations provided valuable networking opportunities for users, helping them connect with potential investors and collaborators.

I employed a variety of tactics and strategies to ensure its success. I focused on building relationships with key stakeholders and partners, as well as developing a marketing and business development strategy to attract and retain users.

Additionally, I paid close attention to the visual aspects of the space, ensuring that they were aligned with the healthy mindset of the entrepreneurs it was designed to serve. The design of the space was crucial to its success and not only supported the physical needs of the users, but also their mental and emotional wellbeing.
